Notre Dame of Cotabato (NDC) is a Catholic Secondary School owned and operated by the Marist Brothers which adheres to the tradition animated by the chrism of their founder, Saint Marcellin Champagnat; a chrism marked by the love for the youth, apostolic zeal, sense of the church, family spirit, and devotion to the blessed Virgin Mary.

NDC affirms its fidelity to relevant education, which while rooted in the teachings of Christ through the church, appeals to men and women regardless to race, religion, or social state. NDC recognizes to the uniqueness of the FIlipino values and rich cultural heritage of our country.

As a Marist School, Notre Dame of Cotabato carries on the work and the spirit of the founder, St. Marcellin Champagnat. It is committed to serve the youth with love for the least favored through education aimed at the formation of integrated human persons able to understand and exhibit basic, moral and spiritual values. It also undertake the mission of developing its administrators, teachers, service staff, parents, and alumni.

As a Catholic school, it takes part in the mission of Christ to proclaim the good news and to witness his presence, express in love, justice and service to the community and to all who come under its influence. As a school catering to students of different religious affiliations and ethnic backgrounds, it foster a culture of peace inside and outside the classroom and promotes peaceful means of solving problems; it promotes understanding and unity among Christian and Moslems by keeping religion as the core of curriculum.

As a Filipino school, it shares in attainment of the goals of education embodied in the Philippines constitution. It preserves and develop Filipino values, convictions and aspirations. It recognizes the vital role of students as responsible citizens in protection the environment and preserving the natural resources.
